Nitish Kumar has ruled out sharing stage with Gujarat CM and BJP leader Narendra Modi.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ruled out sharing stage with his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi during the campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls. "Not at all. Why should I?" Kumar said when asked if he would share a dais with Modi.

To another question if he would join an NDA rally with Modi, Kumar told a TV channel, "No, there is no need".

On if he would be hurt in case Modi campaigned in Bihar, he said, "We have communal harmony. It is not for me to object. I feel that the BJP members (in Bihar) are capable and (the party's prime ministerial candidate L K) Advani will be coming to tour Bihar and I will be with him in one public rally.”

"I do not know about others. May be, Rajnath Singh (BJP President) is also coming," he said.

To another question if Modi was needed in Bihar, Kumar said, "(BJP leader) Sushil Modi is there. He is capable. Many popular leaders are there in the BJP. But which leader should be there has to be decided by the BJP".

Nithish - a good man in bad companyBy: Naim Naqvi | 13-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Nitish Kumar is nice and kind person at heart. He is a mild socialist and knows well that BJP's ideology or apology of an ideology is nothing but farce. It is all a drama to capture power. Modi watchers can still vividly in act this RSS pygmy when he used to express his servility to Babu Bhai Patel. He is a sickening Nova and knows nothing but violence and hate. Nitish had shown Modi his right place. The time is not far when Nitish will have to break with this fascist organization. Nitish is still suffering from the pricks of conscience. Like Mr. Bajpai, he is a good man in bad company.
Mr.ModiBy: karun roongta | 13-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Every body has a right to his opinion. So I don't think how anybody should be or should not a citizen of India. About Mr.Modi I appreciate his all the Hard work he has put up in his state and wont mind him to lead India. However said that his rhetoric makes me uncomfortable. So If he can work on it then he is defintely going to be a PM one day
Modi By: kristv | 12-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward The only CM who wants votes in the name of devolopment.Only CM who has done many good things to his state .It would be better if he is projected as next PM candidate or Dy PM candidate ..may be the other parties in NDA will not agree. But BJP must bring him to centre. When Tytler was announced as MP candidate no secular Parties objected, except BJP and Akalis.
