No headway in Varachha kidnapping case kidnapping case

The next day,the boy’s father,Arvind Beladia,who is one of the partners in the city-based diamond firm,Sutaria Brothers,informed the Varachha police about getting ransom calls on his cellphone.

Though no formal complaint was lodged,the police are investigating the case. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime),S G Trivedi said they suspected involvement of an insider or a relative.

Trivedi refused to divulge details of the reported ransom calls,saying,“It will affect our discreet investigations.”
