  • The kids about town have a reason to cheer—international kidswear brand Unikids marked its entry in India with an entertaining fashion show in the capital. Showcasing the outfits were star kids Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail of Slumdog Millionaire fame, who have of late, become a fixture at fashion events in the city. Cheering the kids from the sidelines were Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) president Sunil Sethi and Shyama Chona, founder of Tamana school for special children. Joining Ali and Ismail on the ramp were differently-abled kids from Tamana. “It is important that children are allowed to develop their unique personalities. We are very excited about the response we have received,” says Heena Nayar, director, Woolways India Ltd, that brought the brand to India. The brand will sell out of their outlet in the Rajouri Garden main market.
