BSP chief Mayawati exuded confidence of her party faring well in the Lok Sabha polls,saying “no one can stop us from coming to power at the Centre”.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also said BSP was not averse to any religion or sect but was against politicians misleading people on such issues.
“No one can stop us from coming to power at the Centre. We are strong in Madhya Pradesh,” she said at an election meeting in Madhya Pradeshs Satna district.
The BSP chief asked party men not to fall prey to allurements offered by other “power hungry” political parties.
“This Lok Sabha election is crucial as it will decide the nation’s fate,” she said.
Accusing the Congress and BJP of exploiting the poor and Dalits after country’s Independence,she said the BSP stood for the welfare of such communities.
