The latest move is expected to put a stop to regular complaints sent to the Indian government from Sikhs in Italy, especially in the last six months,as the Italian security agencies were asking them to open their turbans and get them checked in public.

Earlier on Friday morning, the Italian Foreign minister had assured Krishna that due respect will be given to Indian cultural and religious beliefs especially when they are related to minority communities.
