Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ruled out sharing the stage with Chief Minister Narendra Modi during the campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ruled out sharing the stage with Chief Minister Narendra Modi during the campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls. “Not at all. Why should I?” Kumar said when asked if he would share the dais with Modi. To another question if he would join an NDA rally with Modi,Kumar told a news channel that “there is no need”.

On being asked if he would be hurt in case Modi campaigned in Bihar,he said: “We have communal harmony. It is not for me to object. I feel that the BJP members (in Bihar) are capable and L K Advani (the party’s prime ministerial candidate) will be coming to tour Bihar and I will be with him in one public rally.”

He added: “I do not know about others. Maybe Rajnath Singh (BJP president) is also coming.”

To another question if Modi was needed in Bihar,Kumar said: “(BJP leader) Sushil Modi is there. He is capable. Many popular leaders are there in the BJP. But which leader should come for campaign,it has to be decided by the BJP.”
