  • The Noida Police is planning to videograph Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja each time he appears at the police station to mark his attendance. Ahuja arrived in Noida on October 4.

The police believe that the videography of attendance will serve as proof that the Bollywood actor had come in person. Sources said senior police officials had been toying with the idea as there was no senior officer in the police station when Shiney showed up on Monday.

After being granted bail by the Mumbai High Court, the actor has been staying with his father in Sector 29. The court had directed Ahuja to mark his presence in the nearby police station every week. He marked his first attendance on Monday in the Sector-20 police station.

Ashok Tripathi, SP City, Noida, said the recorded image will be proof that the actor himself is coming to the police station to register his presence. “Though Shiney is a public figure, the videography will show that we have done our duty and adhered to the court order,” said Tripathi.
