To address the huge excitement and anticipation amongst consumers around the much awaited Nokia N97, Nokia India has announced an exciting pre-booking scheme for gadget enthusiasts across the country.

In addition, Nokia has also offered ‘Demo@Home’, a unique opportunity for consumers to preview the N97 from the confines of their home or office before its release in the market.

Designed for the needs of Internet savvy consumers, the Nokia N97 pioneers the concept of a personalized home screen that lets people choose their favourite content, providing an 'always open' window to applications and/or Internet content such as social networking sites, RSS feeds and other widgets in addition to Ovi feeds. Expected to start shipping in India in June end, the Nokia N97 will be the first Nokia device to offer integrated access to the newly opened Ovi Store.

For the first time ever for an Nseries device, Nokia has also worked out an easy EMI payment system for the Nokia N97. It has partnered with HDFC and Citibank to provide a 3-month EMI option at 0% interest rate to consumers in select Nokia Branded Retail outlets in select cities.

Consumers can pre-book the device online by visiting www.nokia.co.in/prebookn97 to fill up a simple form, or by typing and sending a message to 55555. Consumers also have the option of pre-booking the device through key Nokia Branded Retail outlets in the metros and select cities and towns across the country. Once the device is available, a message will be sent to the buyers to collect their new Nokia N97 from the nearest Nokia outlet.
