District Mandi Officer Gurcharan Singh and Kharar Market Committee Secretary Gurmohan Singh, meanwhile, admitted in reply to an RTI query that the Kharar Market Committee, the nodal agency holding these mandis in Chandigarh, generates lakhs of rupees from these markets annually.
