Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti has made it clear that she is neither in the race for chief ministers post in Uttar Pradesh nor does she plan to contest the Assembly elections from the state in 2012. But I surely would like to contest the Lok Sabha elections from UP in 2014, said Bharti. The former MP chief minister who was on her way to Ayodhya had to change her schedule and addressed the media at the VVIP guest house in the state capital on Saturday. I wish to be part of the National Democratic Alliance and Advaniji wants me to be part of the BJP. I have already spoken to Advaniji and the BJP national president Nitin Gadkari, but that was a year ago, said Bharti, commenting on Advanis blog. She further said Advani is a senior leader and she would certainly follow his advice. This was Bhartis first visit since Advani expressed in his blog that Uma would be back in BJP and would be taking care of Uttar Pradesh. He had also hinted that she would play a significant role in the partys reorganisation. According to sources,Uma will either be made coordinator or election in-charge for UP. A party leader said,She can be an answer to Kalyan Singh in UP. But it is yet to be seen as to how she will be fitted in the state scene,as the party needs to balance her in the national picture too. The clarification from her side that she will not be contesting 2012 polls may come as a breather for many, but party insiders said she would be given a major responsibility in the days to come. It is just a matter of days before Bhartis new responsibility is announced, said a source in Delhi. Commenting on the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi and Digvijay Singh. Both of them have lost their mental balance. Congress should look at the partys own history before Rahul Gandhi comments on RSS. Jawahar Lal Nehru had invited RSS to be a part of the Republic Day parade and his great- grandson is relating Sangh with terrorism, said Bharti. Rahul cannot learn anything from Digvijay Singh. He should rather make me his teacher, she said. She was scheduled to go to Ayodhya for Ramlalla Darshan but could not do so. There is no political significance of this visit. I had wanted to go there for a long time but the Ayodhya decision and other issues held me back, said Bharti.
