Yummy mummy Raveena Tandon on why she enjoys being with all kids, and not just her own

First, Chak De Bachche on 9X and now Chhote Miyan Part 2 on Colors. You seem to be having an affinity towards judging kids shows.
Yes. Children are the most uncomplicated of the lot. There are no controversies and no fights. They are innocent and whatever you do or say has a lasting impression on them. It is very comfortable for me to be with them. Also I don’t believe in shows which are created to increase TRPs.

Besides children, what attracted you most to judging the show Chhote Miyan?
I have done a similar kind of thing in the past and it is the talent of the children that had completely blown me away. For me, it is the concept that works best.

So, you’re okay with children playing a major part on television these days?
Why not? Television is a great opportunity for kids to showcase their talent, as long as they are not being exploited. For children who are not good at sport or studies they could actually show off their talent here. Your child may not be Albert Einstein but he could sure be Charlie Chaplin.

How’s life been for you after your kids?
I have taken this long break to be with my kids and this period has been magical. I believe in giving your hundred per cent in whatever I do and hence I chose to be with them full-time. After all, it is very important to nurture your kids at a young age.
