A SGPC panel, which saw the film on Monday and submitted its report to SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar. "There was nothing objectionable in the film as per the report. "The film, instead of posing any threat, rather promotes unity and integrity. We would write to Censor Board to review their decision," Makkar said.

Among the content highlighted as "objectionable" by the Censor Board, according to film producer Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, includes dialogue — "Raj Karega Khalsa" and another based on Guru Gobind Singh's famous tenet where he advocates the use of weapons when all peaceful means of redressing a wrong stand fails.
