  • Children waiting to board their flights at the Mumbai airport can now look forward to some fun and excitement. The Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) has opened a children’s corner at Terminal 1B at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).

The corner, according to a spokesperson, covers an area of 110 sq ft and is located next to security hold 1 of terminal 1B. It will be managed by Landmark Book store. “The corner is open from 6 am to 9 pm and will offer basic facilities such as a television set, magic mirror, board games, drawing sheets and crayons for the children,” said a spokesperson.

“Waiting for a flight can be a little unnerving, especially for young ones. Children can now spend some quality time at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) prior to their flight,” a press release said.
