Now, a paid 'no sex' male escort service for gals looking for groovy dates

A male escort company from Australia thinks there's a market in Brisbane for a non-sexual escort service.

However, critics doubt that women will take to the idea, instead, preferring genuine companionship.

Male Escorts Brisbane, which is the brainchild of entrepreneur Anthony Clark, said that he believed the agency was the first of its kind in the River City for women seeking male company.

"I'm guessing there are quite a few lonely ladies out there who are reasonably wealthy and looking for companionship either for dinner or for an activity," the Courier Mail quoted him as saying.

He said that it's totally a non-sexual service.

Clark, who is currently head of security for a city cocktail bar, said that his team had undergone extensive screening because of their involvement in the security industry.

He said he fielded around four calls a week from men wanting to be an escort, and the agency currently offered dinners, river cruises and hinterland picnics aimed at women between 30 and 55.

"The sexual side of it is what they don't want. They're looking for someone to go to an event with," he added.

Clark said his current stable of escorts are already articulate and have magnetism.

He said that it's just a matter of giving them the guidelines as to what's expected which is standing there listening to beautiful women.
