Telecom company S Tel today announced the launch of international calls at the rate of 1 paisa per second for its subscribers in Bihar and Jharkhand as well as international tourists visiting Bihar during the festive week of Buddha Purnima.

Telecom company S Tel today announced the launch of international calls at the rate of 1 paisa per second for its subscribers in Bihar and Jharkhand as well as international tourists visiting Bihar during the festive week of Buddha Purnima.

“S Tel’s Passport Pack 99 is a gift to our valued subscribers across Bihar and Jharkhand market and to the huge inflow of international tourists expected to join Buddha Purnima celebrations this week,” S Tel Chief Sales & Marketing officer Rajkumar said in a statement.

S Tel’s customer will have to pay Rs 99 for this pack and will get Rs 60 talk time and a validity of 30 days.

Subscribers to this pack will be able to make international voice calls at the rate of 1 per second to mobile phones in Tibet,China,Singapore,Hong Kong,Canada and fixed lines in US and UK.

The pack is open for international tourists. They can get it through a verification process that involves presenting their passport and filling an outbound form. The offer would be activated on the spot subject to validation,the statement said.

S Tel has telecom licences to operate in Orissa,Bihar,Himachal Pradesh,the North East,Assam and Jammu and Kashmir.
