Sabeena, the prime accused in the case, has been the focus of attention because investigators believe she can help them find out the extent of the racket.
The CBI had earlier told the High Court that she was not cooperating with the agency and was setting conditions to disclose names of others involved. But the High Court had pulled up the CBI for letting Sabeena have her way.
Justice B A Kirmani had observed during the initial hearings of the case, “How come she (Sabeena) is setting the conditions? What is the source of her confidence?”
Meanwhile, BSF DIG K S Padhi was today allowed by the court to meet his family. He met his wife and other family members at the Central Jail here.
