NSA,Foreign Secy to meet Rajapaksa

NSA M K Narayanan and Forign Secy Shivshankar Menon will convey India's concerns on the plight of Tamils.

National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and Foreign secretary Shivshanker Menon are leaving for Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

As first reported by The Indian Express,the two special envoys – on behalf of the Indian government – will convey India’s concerns on the plight of Tamils.

They are expected to press for a devolution package for the Tamil minorities and are also expected to offer rehabilitation package for the displaced Tamils.

This development comes within days of LTTE supremo V Prabhakharan being killed.
