    National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and Foreign secretary Shivshanker Menon are leaving for Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

    As first reported by The Indian Express, the two special envoys - on behalf of the Indian government - will convey India's concerns on the plight of Tamils.

    They are expected to press for a devolution package for the Tamil minorities and are also expected to offer rehabilitation package for the displaced Tamils.

    This development comes within days of LTTE supremo V Prabhakharan being killed.

They destroyed a society completely, which the outside world does not know due to media ban. India should talk to Sri Lanka strongly that we mean business now. The Tamils are their nationals and should not be treated anymore as second class citizens. This is not acceptable. They should be given equal right, importance and recognition like any other Lanks. This will avoid a similar situation to come up ever, which is detrimental to the development and progress of that beautiful island country. NSA and Foreign Secretary should force Sri Lanka, the Indian Ocean country and close neighbour of India to take India in confidence on its actions, in view of the total patience and non-interference exercised by India.

The delay in killing Prabhakaran by Lanka due to elections in India, resulted in the death of an additional 14000 tamilians in Eelam. This genocide is worse than Bosnia and yet the world keeps mum. Why does not Indian Government follow Rajapakshe and do the same agains terrorists in Kashmir and Assam? Is it bcos they are not Tamils but ones wearing caps? For the simple reason that Rajiv was killed by a Tamil, Sonia has caused such a mayhem in Eelam. For this, they are rewarding karunanidhi with plum cabinet posts. Is the thirst of Sonia quenched, else does she want more tamil blood
