35 pc power from n-plants by 2050: Kakodkar

    With the signing of the Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal, the country will achieve 35 per cent electricity generation from nuclear power plants by 2050, Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Anil Kakodkar has said.

    The nuclear deal has opened the doors of opportunity for India to set up nuclear power plants to meet its energy requirements, Kakodkar told reporters.

    Approval has been accorded for construction of seventh and eighth units at the nuclear power plant facility in Rajasthan, he said, adding that the work on these two power projects have already started.

    Kakodkar said the 123 agreement with the US could not prevent India from conducting a nuclear test.

    The agreement, he said, will help India in procuring uranium from international suppliers.

The nuclear power is just 3% of total power production in INDIA. The Indo nuclear racket is just to trap India to NPT and CTBT regime by christian PRANB MUCKERJEE and two CIA agents MANMOHAN AND SONIA. The contribution of nuke power will never cross 3%. There is already a shortage of 15% staff in DAE. Good engineers rarely join nuclear field because of radiation exposure concerns and lower pay. The shortage of staff is so bad that DAE now employs lady shift engineers, a practice very detrimental to future generations. Girls are born with all ovam and any exposure to radiation can damage it and pass the genetic damage to the next generation. A thumb rule is not to marry anyone working in nuclear field. So in spite of Rs 128,00,000 crore waiting for expansion we may not see any increase in the 3% contribution from nuclear power.

In our case GOI have to give a similar guarantee if the plant were to be built in India so that if a Chernobyl happens, the US industry or the Indian company that built will not be liable for any damages, and an unsuspecting incompetent INSURANCE company like AIG will pay the compensation. This insurance would make the tariff from a nuclear power plant built by a U.S. company in India costlier besides subsidizing the U.S. firm’s investment in India. Because of this provision, no new nuclear plant has come up in USA for the last 30 years after the Three Mile Island accident. With TERRORISM IN INDIA BY CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM MILITANTS IN FULL SWING A CHERNOBYL IS WAITING TO HAPPEN ANY TIME NOW. AND IF TWO SUICIDE BOMBERS ATTACK ANY NUCLEAR INSTALLATION, ALL THAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN DO IS TO EVACUATE PLACES LIKE BOMBAY WHICH HAS HALF A DOZEN NUKE PLANTS.
