Number of institutes accepting TOEFL test soars

Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced that more than 7,500 colleges and universities in more than 130 countries,including the US,Canada,UK,and Australia,accept the TOEFL test.

Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced that more than 7,500 colleges and universities in more than 130 countries,including the US,Canada,UK,and Australia,accept the TOEFL test,the most widely recognized English-language assessment worldwide.

For more than 45 years,the TOEFL test has provided higher education institutions around the world with an accurate and comprehensive measure to assess the English-language proficiency of non-native speakers.

“We are pleased that so many prestigious colleges and universities globally recognize the TOEFL test as a reliable English-language assessment,” commented Teresa Sanchez-Lazer,Executive Director of TOEFL Product Management.”

To date,more than 24 million students globally have taken the TOEFL test and the number of test takers continues to increase. Convenient for students,the TOEFL test is the most accessible English-language assessment,available at more than 4,500 test administration sites in 165 countries. Students can now receive their scores online within two weeks,making the testing process more efficient and user friendly.
