Nursery admissions: Schools out second list

As was expected,on the last day of the announcement of the second list for admission to nursery classes.

As was expected,on the last day of the announcement of the second list for admission to nursery classes,most of the schools across the city did not come up with any on Monday.

Among the few schools that released a second list are: Delhi Public School-Mathura Road,two branches of DPS at East of Kailash and Vasant Vihar,Vasant Valley School-Vasant Kunj and St George School-Alaknanda.

We did not have to announce any second list. We are over with the nursery admission process, said Ameeta Wattal principal of Springdales School-Pusa Road.

To fill any vacant seats in the management quota,schools have time till March 31.

The DPS-East of Kailash,meanwhile,implemented the open seats category for the first time since the Directorate of Educations announcement. The school transferred at least six seats meant for the staff to the general category. The total seats for the staff were nine but only three seats under that category were taken,allowing the school to shift six for the general category.

The new academic session starts from April 1. Springdales,however,will start its session from April 12.
