Official notification for Tripura assembly polls

Official notification for the elections to the 60-member assembly seats in Tripura to be held on February 14 was issued today.
Submission of nominations for the assembly seats were opened from today which would continue till February 28.
The scrutiny of nominations would be done on Jan 29 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature is January 31.
Counting for the elections would be held on February 28 and the results would be announced on the same day.
An estimated 23,52,505 voters of which 11,64,656 are females are eligible to exercise their franchise in the elections.
