A man suspected of swine flu died on Wednesday afternoon within half an hour of his admission at the isolation ward of Sir Sayajirao General (SSGH) Hospital.
Chiman Solanki (62) initially suffered from fever and cough and had breathing problem. Later,he visited a local doctor at Dandia Bazaar.
On Wednesday,however,he was referred to SSG hospital. Solanki was admitted at the isolation ward in the hospital at 2 pm. Solanki reportedly died soon after his admission.
He had come with multiple problems including respiratory problem,pneumonia and diabetes and had come to SSG at a very critical condition, said Pravina Thakkar,Resident Medical Officer,SSG. His swab samples were collected before his death.
Solanki was a resident of Fatehpura and was a retired bus driver with the State Transport (ST) services. He is survived by his wife and his two sons.
