Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has come across problems that have stalled the launch of her TV channel,Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Winfrey,55,has been trying for two years to get the channel,a station full of uplifting shows,on air in America, but still has no start date and no programmes. No public statements have been made about the channels future plans, which has left advertisers baffled. Its kind of like the Death Star over there not a lot is coming out, a daily quoted Brent Poer, head of advertising buying firm MediaVest,as saying. He thinks that Oprahs new management team is taking its time to get everything right. The worst thing that could happen would be to show everyone the baby and then everyone says the babys ugly, he said. He added: They are simply saying,Lets not give birth yet.
