Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has revealed that the director of ‘Doubt’ turned her down for a role in the film.

While chatting with ‘Doubt’ actress Meryl Streep on her talk show, Oprah revealed that she was keen to act with her in the flick but John Patrick Shanley didn’t find her suitable.

Billionaire Oprah auditioned for the role of “Mrs. Miller”, who breaks down after hearing her son may have been molested by a priest, reports 'US Weekly'.

The role eventually went to Viola Davis, who was later nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe.
