If you’re a Cyrus Broacha fan,you’ll love this stand up comedy act. It’s called Cyrusitis and it’s a two-man show with Broacha and his buddy Kunal Vijaykar. Based on Broacha’s first-hand experiences,he will take you through a minefield of topics you never thought you would ever laugh about. From Bill Clinton to Nelson Mandela,Amitabh Bachchan,Shah Rukh Khan,Richard Gere and Sachin Tendulkar,he doesn’t spare anyone.

After a run of shows in Summer 2009,IPTA Balmanch’s Barsoraam Dhadaake Se is back at Prithvi Theatre,Juhu,over the weekend. Based on a story by Kalpana Swaminathan,it stars Javed Khan and Sulabha Arya in the lead roles. Directed by Shaili Sathyu,it is a funny fairytale based in Mumbai. Bansode Uncle is the cranky,scary and child-hating landlord of the Africa House. What happens to this awful man when monsoon meanders into his world is the gist of the play.
