    Earlier in his address, the Director of the Academy Navin Agarwal apprised that the week-long interaction on various issues concerning several dimensions of terrorism, its ever-changing ramifications would be discussed.

    "Our current and futuristic preparedness to counter the terror threats and to make the police forces of the country more effective in dealing with the menace of terror will also be discussed," Agarwal said.

    He hoped that new appropriate tactical action plan would be evolved after the end of the course.

    As many as 18 IPS and senior police and para-military officers from across the country participated in the course.

    Forty seveb thousands killed in j kBy: Muzaffar Ahmad Dar | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Indian Offficial are week in counting that is why The official are giving differant figures at different times EG Their installed CM Mufti singh or sayeed on floor is on record to have confessed that 9300 Plus are missing and what is the exact number killed is a matter that only could be acertained only by talking to the people whose dear ones have been killed.Most of the civilian killed have been killed by indian forces and counted in crossfiring account.That It is also true that the militants too killed kashmiris in name of informers etc.But Since the inidan terrorists press (Name Given by Ved Bhasin chairman kashmirtimes group)is totally sensoring the situation in kashmir hence the whole indian were shocked to see million of the people on streets in june and finally realised that they need freedom from kashmir also
