In the two chargesheets, the police have identified 29 persons as accused, of which 12 are still absconding. The police have relied mainly on “linking evidence” and the videos and other data retrieved from cellphones recovered from the suspects to come to the conclusion about their role in the blasts.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaweri Baweja has fixed March 4 as the date for consideration of the chargesheets. Three persons were killed and 39 were injured in the blast at Central Park on September 13 last year. No one was injured at India Gate; a case regarding the bomb was registered at Tilak Marg police station.
