A day after the Pakistan Military Attache embarrassed Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor at a public function in the Capital by taking on his remarks on the ISI, the Pakistan Air Attache sought to defuse the situation. After Air Chief Fali Homi Major had finished his lecture, not mentioning Pakistan even once — unlike Army Chief Kapoor who had talked about the ISI and the need to rein it in — the media asked for his take on the recent upgradation of the Pakistan fighter fleet. Major deflected the question to the Pakistan Air Attache. The officer, in turn quipped: “Our fleet is too small for anyone to get worried about.”
