Dressed in a short deep-neck white number,Baywatch girl Pamela Anderson greeted everyone with a namaste at a resort in Lonavala. All set to enter the Bigg Boss house on Tuesday night as a guest for three days,Anderson has raised curiosity levels. “Life is short and I wanted to visit India soon. This is my first trip to India. I wish I could visit the Taj Mahal but I don’t like to be away from my sons for long,” she says.

Despite creating quite a stir in India’s reality television,Anderson confesses that she is not such a big fan of reality TV. “I miss the old television shows such as Baywatch. What fascinates me is how fascinated the viewers are with reality TV,” she says. Though she hasn’t seen any episodes of Bigg Boss 4,she has been briefed by the team on what to expect from the inmates.

Anderson sounds excited about her stint in the Bigg Boss house. She is even comfortable with the idea of doing house work there. “I do that all the time. I love doing laundry and I cook a lot,” she says. With all the bizarre tasks that are allotted to the contestants in this show on Colors, one can expect a lot of drama in the next three days. “I want to learn some dance moves and I am eager to learn how to make naan — it’s my favourite. Though I hope I am not expected to speak Hindi. I know only one Hindi word — namaste,” she says.

However,Anderson’s India visit is not about Bigg Boss alone. For her,Bigg Boss seems to be a platform to spread social messages. “Don’t use leather products,” says this PeTA activist. That apart, she is taking 10 special buckets with her to the house — with a very specific purpose. These orange-coloured buckets are meant to help in water purification. “I will be doing a demonstration inside the house. Clean water is everyone’s right,” she says and goes on to explain the procedure involving tubes, rings and terumo syringes.

Designer Ashley Rebello has designed her wardrobe for the three-day stay. “I have made Lucknowi salwar kameez, swim suits, sarongs, vests, duppatas, leggings and T-shirts,” says the designer. Anderson will walk into the house in a white chiffon sari with mirror work on it. Before leaving India,Anderson plans to pack some saris and fabrics for her mother. “I hope I get the time to shop,” she adds.
