Panvel bus fire: student dies in hospital

Ronit Gore,a 14-year-old student injured on Thursday when a bus ferrying schoolchildren caught fire in Panvel,died on Saturday evening at the National Burns Centre (NBC),Airoli.

Doctors said Gore had been on ventilator ever since he was brought in with 68 per cent burns. Over 20 children were injured in the fire and six of them,including Gore,had been brought to NBC on Thursday.

With another student being admitted on Friday,there are six children in the ICU of the hospital now. They are reportedly in stable condition.
