An advocate has filed a complaint in the Versova police station against a popular television channel hosting a reality show Pati, Patni aur Woh, starring Rakhi Sawant and other contestants, claiming that the name of the show was misleading.

Sushant Kunjuraman, the complainant, said, “I approached the Versova police on Tuesday and filed a complaint against the channel on the ground that the name of the show was misleading.” The police have booked the channel and the contestants under Sections 317 (exposure and abandonment of a child under 12 years), 337 (causing hurt by endangering life and personal safety) and 338 (causing grievous hurt). “I have also sent the police a CD containing a part of the show. I have been assured that the required action would be taken soon,” said Kunjuraman. ACP Dilip Suryavanshi said, “We are still conducting inquiry into the issue and will take the action soon.”
