PCTE gets national award

    Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) here has been conferred with “B-School that encourages leadership as part of curriculum” award by 17th Dewang Mehta B-School Excellence Award in association with B School Affaire held at Mumbai on November 5. The award is in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of business school.

    Dr KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes along with Harpreet K Kang Dy Dean, PCTE Institutes, received the award on behalf of PCTE. The award was given by Harish Mehta, Chairman & MD, Onward Technologies, during the award ceremony at Hotel Taj Ends, Mumbai.

    The Business School Affaire started these awards 16 years ago with 4 contests. From last 5 years, this event is dedicated to Late Dewang Mehta, pioneer in bringing IT revolution in India and former head of NASSCOM. This event is dedicated to the spirit of young India.

    On this occasion, Dr KNS Kang informed that PCTE had got this award alongwith nine other top B schools of India including IIM Bangalore, FMS New Delhi, Deptt. Of Business management IIT Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur, XIM Bhubaneswar, and Loyola Institute of Management. Dr.Kang further informed that these awards were decided by the Jury comprised of professionals from several industries such as HDFC, Axis, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy, Yes Bank, Oracle Financial Services, Religare Securities, Sterlite Industries, Sony, etc.
