The Commissioner of Police (Ludhiana), Ishwar Singh in a statement released on Wednesday, has asked the general public to meet the police officers directly and not go through the officer's staff or readers. Singh said: "We have come across incidents where the public has complained that they were not allowed to meet the officer by his staff. Just to rectify this problem we have issued this statement."
