Delhi’s swish set converged at The Claridges,Surajkund,for the first-ever Watch World Awards,coupled with an exhibition of exquisite watches and a musical performance by the legendary Wadali Brothers. The awards constituted by Mitrajit Bhattacharya,President and Publisher of the Chitralekha Group,which publishes Watch World said,“It has not been easy for the international watch brands to establish themselves in the tough Indian market due to constraints like high rentals,excessive duties,discerning customers looking for price parity and extremely low retail margins. But there are positive changes and the awards is a step in that direction,” he said.

Spotted at the event were designers Charu Parasher,Nitin Bal Chauhan,Ritu Beri,politician Vani Tripathi,model Amanpreet Wahi,entrepreneur Chhaya Momaya,and billiards player Michael Ferreira.
