The swish set of Mumbai trooped into the seaside pier of Radio Club,Colaba, with their favourite armcandies when Upper Crust hosted a three-day carnival,Dog A’Fair, starting Friday,January 29. However,it was on Sunday, the last day of the carnival, the maximum number of four-legged guests and their socialite “parents” turned up at this quaint club. Editor Farzana Contractor came with her white and black dogs and was present throughout the day. Cyrus Broacha had his German Shepherd as his companion while Dolly Thakore read out stories about animals. There were a number of stalls, games and goodies for the dogs and their owners.

After a while, the dogs were left to wander while guests like Aki Narula,Anish Trivedi,Gary Richardson,Kavita Khanna and

Himanshu Roy seemed to enjoy the evening and games.

Showstopper The well-dressed dogs who strutted around with as much attitude as their “parents”.
