After his much publicised break-up from glamour girl Katie Price, Peter Andre has finally decided to start dating again and has set his eyes on none other than emerging popstar Alexandra Burke.

The 'Mysterious Girl' singer plans to woo the 21-year-old by cooking her a romantic dinner at a date over the weekend, reported Sun online.

The couple first met on Tuesday last week when Andre was a guest host on Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show and had to interview the singer.

"Pete is finally beginning to feel like the time is right to start dating again. He was knocked sideways when he was chatting to Alex on TV last week. He loved her personality and thought she was seriously hot," said a source close to the singer.

The couple had exchanged numbers after the programme and they have been texting each other non-stop ever since.

"Things are gathering pace between Peter and Alex. They have been in non-stop text contact since, flirting with each other over the phone," added the source.

And Andre has spent the week researching recipes to impress the stunning pop star.

Andre, 36 and Price who have two kids together - Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii - split in May this year and divorced in September.
