If melody is queen then Mohammed Rafi is undoubtedly the king of vocals. To commemorate legendary singer Mohammed Rafis 31st death anniversary Prasad Mahadkars Jeevan Gani organised a series of tribute concerts in Mumbai and Thane titled Phir Rafi Yaadon Ka Chala Caravan. For the third year in succession,singer Shrikant Narayan regaled with immortal songs of the singer from films like Arzoo,Bhabhi,Changez Khan,Razia Sultana,Guide,Kala Pani,Kaajal,Dil Diya Dard Liya,Shola Aur Shabnam,Mere Mehboob,Maya,Aarti, Raaz,Mere Sanam,Sangam,Haseena Maan Jayegi,Do Raaste,Talash,Rajkumar,Arzoo,Mehboob Ki Mehndi,Taqdeer, Haath Ki Safai,Hum Kisise Kum Naheen and others,ably supported by Sarita Rajesh in duets. Ajay Madan and his team of 12 musicians recreated the orchestra. The three-hour event was co-organised by Rajesh Subramanian of Musicolor.
