A group of more than two dozen persons attacked and seriously injured a photo-journalist of national daily and another photographer, when both of them had gone to discharge their professional duties at Civil Hospital here on Sunday afternoon. The police have registered an an attempt-to-murder case and three persons — Jaspal Singh, Hunny and Sunny — have been arrested.

The photojournalists have been identified as Aditya Jaitly and Happy. Aditya is presently admitted at DMCH and has sustained injuries on his head while Happy has got injuries on his hand.

According to reports, the duo had received information that after a clash, a few injured persons were admitted to the civil hospital for treatment. However when they reached the hospital, more than two dozen persons attacked them with sharp edged weapons and inflicted serious injuries on them.
