Asserting the UPA government handled the Mumbai terror attacks "very well",Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday favoured better global coordination to counter the scourge. Addressing an election rally in Bikaner,he also underlined the need for reforms in the intelligence network in stamping out the menace. "A global coordination is needed to achieve success in this mission," the Prime Minister said adding there was also need for better intelligence-sharing between the states and the Centre. Referring to the Mumbai terror strikes,he said the security forces and the Centre handled it very well. It was a great achievement for the country,the Prime Minister said adding "we (the UPA government) are committed to ensure fool-proof security in the country in future also." Voicing concern over terror activities,he said only the Congress could deal effectively with the menace as it did during the Mumbai assault.
