Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday offered his condolences to the family of veteran journalist Prabhash Joshi who passed away after a massive heart attack. The PM wrote a condolence message to Joshi’s wife Usha, describing Prabhash Joshi as an inspirational journalist and a man of extraordinary intellectual courage and professional integrity. “I am deeply grieved to learn of the sudden and sad demise of your husband Shri Prabhash Joshi, a veteran journalist of our country. Joshi was a man of extraordinary intellectual courage and professional integrity. He acquired an iconic status as the founder-editor of the Hindi daily Jansatta,” the PM’s condolence message read.
