The work of the IMG will be reviewed once in three months by a Committee of Secretaries (CoS) headed by cabinet secretary K M Chandrasekhar. Any differences, which may arise between ministries and departments on any related issue, will be resolved by CoS.

•Prime Minister keen that IMG determine action points that can be implemented in a time-bound manner

•Group will be chaired by plan panel secretary Subas Pani and will include secretary-rank ministerial representations from various ministries and departments

•Some of the action points could be providing for a national fund for the unorganised sector, focus on skills development and social security measures

•IMG will coordinate between various ministries and monitor implementation of action points

•Group also has to obtain approval of concerned authorities for implementation of recommended action points
