PM nominee decision after JD(U) meet,says Nitish

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that the JD(U) would “give its views on prime ministerial candidate” to the NDA after the party’s national executive in New Delhi on April 13 and 14.

“People must not have any confusion or do guess work regarding our views on NDA’s PM choice. We will convey it to the NDA and media after our national executive,” he said,adding that JD(U) leaders will discuss the current political situation at the meet,and Sharad Yadav will be formally re-elected as the party’s national president.

Amidst talks of a section of BJP leaders mentioning L K Advani as the NDA’s PM candidate,Nitish said he is a “highly respectable” leader,but the choice of the candidate was “an internal matter” of the BJP.
