RASHTRAPATI AND MINISTERIAL BHAVANSBy: NIRANJAN | 04-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED MANY A TIMES THAT RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN (AND PROBABLY RASTRAPATI TOO) IS A WHITE ELEPHANTS. IN ADDITION WE HAVE MANY OTHER MINISTERS WHO ARE OCCUPYING MANSIONS AND MANORS WHICH ONLY ROYALTIES DID IN THE OLDEN DAYS. NOW, THE NEW ROYALTIES ARE ENJOYING THE FACILITES OF LARGE MANSIONS AND HOUSES AT THE TAXPAYERS' EXPENSE. ALSO, ALL THE ROOMS IN THESE MANSIONS ARE AIR CONDITIONED AND ALL THE A/Cs ARE RUNNING MOST OF THE TIME! WELL, AND WE THOUGHT WE WERE INDEPENDENT WHEN THE BRITISH LEFT INDIA. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE CREATED A NEW CLASS OF ROYALTY WHO ANSWER TO NO BODY AND DO WHAT THEY WANT. WE SHOULD BE READY TO PAY MORE FOR THESE ROYALTIES IN FUTURE AS THEY KNOW NO BOUNDS!
