  • The Amboli police are investigating charges against two persons alleged to have duped job aspirants seeking employment in the aviation industry.

As per the complaint filed by one Ashish Pawar, the duo are from a Andheri-based company that asked job aspirants to undergo a two-month training course on payment of Rs 60,000 and promised jobs after that.

“Pawar gave the money to two persons identified as Nitin Ambulkar and Karishma Mehta. However, after making the payment and undergoing the course when he asked about the job, they allegedly started making excuses. Suspecting foul play, Pawar approached the Amboli police station,” said Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region) Amitabh Gupta. On investigation, it was revealed that others had been duped similarly. “So far we have got complaints from around 15 other persons,” said Gupta.
