Police recover youth’s body with eyes gouged out

The body of an unidentified man with his eyes gouged out was found in a south Delhi locality,police said.

The body was recovered from Kusumpur in Vasant Kunj area by police after it received a call from a passerby who spotted it at around 8 am.

The man,in his late twenties,was attacked with a blunt object on his head and his eyes were gouged out,a senior police official said.

The body was found in a 20 feet-deep pit,the official said adding,they were trying to identify him.
