An Indian product or service you can’t do without?
Butter chicken with naan and Indian kurtas,which I can team with various Indian pants and even denims.

Any fashion tips?
I have worn saris in Mumbai thrice and quite enjoyed it but it’s hard work to wear them and walk in them. But kurtas are convenient and I’ve adopted them in my personal style as well.

Dared to try street food?
I have not,I think my stomach is too Australian to be so adventurous. I did not want to risk wasting my time in Mumbai lying in bed for days. But I did move on from eating only at posh hotels in the beginning to local Indian restaurants. That’s a remarkable improvement.

A phrase you’re bound to hear?
“Do the needful”,“revert” and “right?”

Your road experiences?
Travelling in auto-rickshaws take care of all adventure that you might be looking forward to.

What is sexy about Mumbai?
I guess sexy is something intriguing,exciting,amazing,full of surprises,elements of contrast,which changes completely at night and full of life. So if this is sexy then this is Mumbai.

Have you been conned yet?
Yes,by paying too much for an auto ride,but it is okay.

I have visited Mumbai six times in 2009 and what amazes me is that during each trip,I discover something new about the city and always find new places to go to.

What are the similarities or differences between Mumbai and your hometown?
Well,given that there are more people living in Andheri than in the whole of Melbourne (at least it seems so),how can there be similarities? Differences,plenty,starting with infrastructure.

Mumbai,the cultural capital?
It must be true,though I have not really seen other cities to compare it to in India. I know there are a lot of different organisations who have their headquarters is in Mumbai.
