Newly-single actress Katie Holmes says she wants to date taller men after splitting from her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Holmes, 33, who is two inches taller than Cruise, has reportedly bought 15 pairs of heels following her divorce from the superstar, reported Sun online.

"I would like a guy who is taller than me... It sounds shallow. I like being tall, but going on dates with someone who is shorter... I just want to be with someone who is taller than me," said Holmes, who used to stick to flat shoes while attending public events with Cruise.

The "Batman Begins" beauty split from Cruise in June and their divorce was finalised last month after five years of marriage.
