Leader of the House and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and BJP deputy leader Sushma Swaraj are among the members of the Business Advisory Committee of the new Lok Sabha. Speaker Meira Kumar is the chairperson.

The other members are V Kishore Chandra Deo, Girija Vyas, Thokchom Meinya and Paban Singh Ghatowar (all Congress), Anant Kumar and Ramesh Bais (both BJP), Shailendra Singh (SP), Dara Singh Chauhan (BSP), Ram Sundar Das (JD-U), Sudip Bandopadhyaya (Trinamool Congress), Basudeb Acharia (CPI) and T R Baalu (DMK). Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and his deputy V Narayanasamy are special invitees. Three parties, RJD, NCP and CPI, have lost their slots in the committee.
