Praniti Shinde, daughter of Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, surprised former MLA Narsayya Adam whom she defeated in City Central by seeking his blessings at his office on Friday evening. Adam, the warhorse who had taken the ruling party to task on many occasions welcomed her by offering his chair to the newly elected MLA. Praniti touched the feet of the CPM mass leader and sought his guidance.

“She is young and has set up a new trend by her behaviour. Generally such etiquettes are missing in politics and leaders don’t show any respect to the defeated candidate, but her conduct has forced me to bless her from my heart though she has defeated me,” Adam told the media. While for Praniti, it was the respect for him that brought her to his doorsteps. “I have nothing in my mind about Adamji. The election is over and I visited his office to seek guidance for the fast development of the city. He is my elder,” she said.
